I can so relate to this post. For those of us who had already stepped away from the mainstream by 2020 (either physically, figuratively, or both), I think we experienced the lockdown insanity differently than most.
It made me really glad my husband and I had already "escaped," even with all the sacrifices that had involved. (Though looking back, there were really no sacrifices, just blessings in disguise.)
