My thinking on the potential of the SWS:

Garbage in, garbage out.

Pride goes before a fall, and the sooner their hubris responds to the reality of gravity, the better.

Back to childhood I've been a map junkie--or I should say a paper map junkie. It came naturally being from a shipbuilding and naval family and having a father who started teaching his children the basics of celestial navigation at around age 3.

For me the draw of maps was always the representational choices made in creating them, including the artistic/technical options. That is, the map as one possible representation among many possibles.

The movement toward the notion that lived life is the representation of the larger truth of the authoritative, centrally controlled (by secret priesthoods) map is one that has haunted and disturbed me back to the 1980s. You have done an exceptional job of capturing this epistemic shift. Thank you.
